Cake Made with Buttermilk and Coffee Flour 

This cake is ideal for every meal of the day, whether it's breakfast, brunch, or a mid-afternoon snack,  

thanks to its delicious blend of textures: soft cake, chewy streusel, and crispy almonds. 

I am a strèusel fanatic. My go-to when I'm in a coffee shop is the New York Crumb Cake.

Even while I enjoy the fruit and cake in French Apple Cake and Blueberry Crumb Cake, my favorite component is the thick coating of streusel.  

The towering streusel topping on these cherry crumble bars is one of my favorite 

types of muffins, and I could eat the buttery crumb topping by the fistful.  

Here in this buttermilk coffee cake, the streusel is flipped upside down and baked into a crust that is both chewy and tender,
