Offense lineman joins Vikings' practice squad 

For the second day in a row, the Minnesota Vikings have taken action during practice.  

Byrd was originally waived by the Denver Broncos then signed to the practice squad by the Vikings following final cuts. 

In a flurry of roster transactions on November 4th, he was removed off the practice squad.

After reducing their wide receiver roster from five to four, the Vikings re-instated him to the practice squad.  

Injuries to Ed Ingram, Dalton Risner, and Brian O'Neill have left them with a somewhat depleted offensive line.

Even though Byrd probably won't get much playing time, he'll be an asset to the squad during practice.
